The only way for the embryo to achieve a good nucleocytoplasmic ratio is to make blebs (fragmentation), in order to enter mitosis.In this case ,the embryo loses cytoplasm and also mRNA and proteins necessary for further development.Changes of culure media osmolarity can be prevented by culturing under oil.
